West End Markets (Davies Park)
Right in Hercules’ home city, the West End Markets — still known to locals as Davies Park Market — are one of Brisbane’s most vibrant community markets. Held every Saturday from 6am at Davies Park on Montague Road, 150-plus vendors trade fresh produce, food, fashion and handcrafted gifts under a canopy of glorious Moreton Bay fig trees.
As a Brisbane market, it’s close to home for us — head down on a Saturday and you’ll see plenty of Hercules marquees among the stalls under the figs.
Brisbane Farmers Markets (Jan Powers)
Another one close to home — the Jan Powers Farmers Markets are Brisbane’s best-known farmers markets, running since 2000 and championing local farmers and producers across several sites, from the riverside Powerhouse markets at New Farm on Saturdays to the city markets in the CBD midweek. Each market day draws thousands of shoppers for fresh produce, artisan food and a buzzing open-air atmosphere.
Being a Brisbane operation ourselves, these are a home-ground fixture for us — you’ll spot plenty of Hercules marquees among the stalls.
Port Douglas Sunday Markets
Held every Sunday at Anzac Park on the Port Douglas waterfront, overlooking the Coral Sea, these Far North Queensland markets have run for over 25 years and draw big crowds to 100-plus stalls of local produce, art, craft and jewellery.
Head down on a Sunday and you’ll see Hercules marquees right across the market — they’re the go-to here for shade that stands up to the tropical FNQ heat.
Eumundi Markets
One of Australia’s premier artisan markets, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland just 15 minutes from Noosa. Open Wednesdays and Saturdays with 300-plus stalls of art, craft, food and fashion along the shady, fig-lined streets of Eumundi.
A great many of the stallholders here trade under Hercules marquees — a familiar sight among the fig trees.
Fishermans Road Markets
A Maroochydore Sunday institution on the Sunshine Coast, open 6am–12pm with up to 128 stalls of fresh produce, plants, clothing and pre-loved goods. Run by the Lions Club, with standard 3x3m stall sites — a perfect fit for a pop-up marquee.
A big share of the stalls here run on Hercules marquees, set up and packed down every Sunday morning.
Palm Beach Farmers' Market
One of the Gold Coast’s longest-running farmers’ markets, established in 2000, held every Saturday morning at Palm Beach Currumbin High School with around 80 stalls of fresh produce, artisan food, seafood and flowers.
You’ll spot plenty of Hercules marquees among the produce stalls here most Saturday mornings.
Salamanca Market
Tasmania’s most visited attraction and one of Australia’s largest outdoor markets — held every Saturday along Hobart’s historic Salamanca Place, with 300-plus stalls running since 1972 against a backdrop of Georgian sandstone warehouses.
Plenty of Salamanca’s stallholders rely on Hercules marquees to trade through Hobart’s changeable weather, week in, week out.
